TOOLS REQUIRED
- Leather belt
- Screwdriver / pliers
- Sharp cutter or utility knife
- Leather hole punch
- Ruler or measuring tape
- Marker or pencil
- Cutting board
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
STEP 1 – MEASURE THE RIGHT FIT
Wear your belt and note the hole you use most. Measure the length from buckle to that hole.
STEP 2 – REMOVE THE BUCKLE
Unscrew or unsnap the buckle. Most belts use a metal screw.
STEP 3 – MARK THE CUTTING POINT
Measure how much belt length you want to reduce and mark it on the buckle end.
STEP 4 – CUT THE LEATHER
Place on cutting board and cut slowly for a clean straight edge.
STEP 5 – PUNCH NEW HOLE
Create a hole for the buckle screw using a leather punch tool.
STEP 6 – REATTACH THE BUCKLE
Insert buckle and secure it tightly.
STEP 7 – TEST FIT
